Subcategory: Water Emulsifiable Esters
  • Technical Data

Applications

Focus Ester OE 1505 is formulated into emulsion systems like soluble oils, semi-synthetic, synthetic, drawing and stamping applications for emulsification, corrosion protection and wetting characteristics.
Treatment levels of 1% to 15% into the concentrate are suggested, depending upon the severity of the machining operation.

Benefits

Focus Ester OE 1505 will reduce or eliminate the amount of additives needed in the metalworking coolants, like chlorine, fatty acids and amides.
  • High oxidative stability
  • Excellent corrosion protection
  • Co-emulsifier, both oil and water-soluble
  • Excellent wetting characteristics
  • Replaces nonylphenol ethoxylates
  • Excellent thermal, oxidative and hydrolytic stability
  • Will not cause staining
  • Light in color with no odor
  • High degree of saturation offers biostability properties
  • Replaces all fats and fatty compounds, reducing biological attack
  • High level of corrosion protection allows reduction of corrosion inhibitors
