Focus InhibitR 1000

High-performance, water-soluble corrosion inhibitor for cast iron and steel alloys
  • Technical Data

Applications

Focus InhibitR 1000 is designed to be used in semi-synthetic and synthetic metalworking fluids, water-based hydraulic fluids, and industrial cleaners. It can also be used as an excellent tankside additive to boost in-sump rust protection. Treat rates of Focus InhibitR 1000 in finished synthetic fluid concentrates range from 10 to 20%, depending on the particular machining operation, pH of fluid, and dilution rates of the finished fluid in water. For tankside additions, 0.5 to 1.0% will provide a significant increase in corrosion control. To maintain maximum corrosion protection efficiency, the fluid’s pH should be 8.0 or higher.

Benefits

Focus InhibitR 1000 is formulated using a unique mixture of organic acid salts. Focus InhibitR 1000 is very low foaming and has excellent hard water stability. This product does not contain any nitrates/nitrites, boron, or secondary amines.
